Healthcare hero is rooting for the LA Rams.
We’ve got a winner! Angela Kim, an oncology nurse at City of Hope Comprehensive Cancer Center in southern California, got some incredible news this week: she’s going to the Super Bowl!
Angela won tickets as part of the NFL Super Bowl Sweepstakes, which offered fans a chance to win the Super Bowl experience of a lifetime: two tickets to Super Bowl LVI in Los Angeles, roundtrip airfare and hotel, and a meet and greet with our ACS celebrity partner, the actress and TikTok sensation Addison Rae. Each entry was $10, and the promotion raised $100,000 in support of Crucial Catch CHANGE grants, which fund prevention and screening initiatives in communities with the greatest need.
Angela will attend the game with her husband Howard. The couple live in Los Angeles and are huge LA Rams fans. This will be their first time attending a Rams game in person. They are truly in for an amazing experience! (Note: Angela and Howard are pictured here.)
As an oncology nurse, Angela is no stranger to the American Cancer Society. She said she visits cancer.org often and uses the resources she finds there to support her patients during their fight with cancer.
