“Be A Game Changer” launches nationwide

Point-of-sale campaign runs through April 4.

The American Cancer Society and Coaches vs. Cancer launched the 2nd annual “Be A Game Changer” point-of-sale campaign on March 1 – uniting college basketball fans for the common cause to improve the lives of people with cancer and their families.

In partnership with Outback Steakhouse, Shoe Carnival, and Shoe Station, customers are invited to “Be A Game Changer” in the fight against cancer by donating at participating Outback Steakhouse restaurants (donate $3 or $5 on the bill in restaurant or online), Shoe Carnival (round up) and Shoe Station (round up) locations from now through April 4.

“Last year the Game Changer campaign raised $150,000 to support our mission to help end cancer as we know it, for everyone,” said Chief of Organizational Advancement Mike Neal. “It’s yet another great opportunity for coaches, companies, and the public to join together and support the fight against cancer.”

Participating locations include 700 Outback Steakhouse restaurants, 377 Shoe Carnival stores, and 21 Shoe Station stores across the country.
