Lung Cancer Roundtable publishes Strategic Plan series

Articles in Cancer journal serve as blueprint for reducing the burden of the disease.

The ACS National Lung Cancer Roundtable (ACS NLCRT) recently published its Strategic Plan Article Series in Cancer.

This series will feature 15 articles that together form ACS NLCRT’s comprehensive strategic plan and serve as a blueprint for reducing the burden of disease for individuals affected by lung cancer and their families. The manuscripts will summarize the current state, needs, and barriers to implementing best practices in lung cancer care.

Read the first two installments in the series. Strategic plan contributions from across the ACS NLCRT Task Groups will continue to be published over the coming months.

Established by the American Cancer Society in 2017, the ACS NLCRT is a consortium of more than 220 diverse organizations catalyzing collective action to further their shared mission of creating lung cancer survivors. Subscribe to the ACS NLCRT’s Newsletter and connect with the roundtable on LinkedIn and X so you don’t miss important updates on future installments in the series.

The ACS roundtables are a recommended and proven model for creating sustained partnerships across diverse sectors and communities to collaboratively address the most complex problems across the cancer continuum. ACS provides organizational leadership and expertise to support the roundtables and their members in their efforts to further a shared vision of giving all people an equal opportunity to prevent and survive cancer.
