Wayne White, a business executive with more than 25 years of sales and marketing experience, will assume the role of regional executive vice president of the North Central Region on Dec. 12. He will be based in Chicago.
Mike Neal, senior EVP, Field Operations, said Wayne "is deeply committed to our mission and is interested in improving outcomes in underserved communities."
Most recently, Wayne served as vice president & general manager of sales in North America for Alcatel, a global telecommunications equipment company, responsible for driving profitable growth for the $1 billion business. Prior to joining Alcatel, Wayne served in multiple executive roles for Kobo, Motorola, Verizon Wireless, AT&T, and General Electric.
Wayne has a bachelor of science in mechanical engineering and master of science in telecommunications from the University of Pittsburgh. He also holds an MBA in marketing from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland.
Wayne is no stranger to the North Central Region, having lived and worked in Illinois, Michigan, Ohio, and Kentucky. He has served on the Board of Directors for the National Kidney Foundation SE Michigan, Gleaner's Food Bank, and Haven Domestic Violence. He has been a big brother in the Big Brothers Big Sisters program, an instructor in Junior Achievement, and is passionate about improving education in inner cities. He also is a recipient of Crain's Detroit Business "40 under 40" award.
