Gary Reedy nominated for the "100 Most Influential People in Healthcare" list; voting is over and now the wait begins

Our CEO Gary Reedy has been nominated for Modern Healthcare’s annual "100 Most Influential People in Healthcare" list. Between May 21 and June 12, readers got to cast their votes for five of the 300 nominees. Thank you to everyone who voted for Gary!

Now, the waiting begins. Modern Healthcare's senior editors will select the top 100, and the 2018 list of the "100 Most Influential People in Healthcare" will be published in Modern Healthcare magazine on August 20.

Modern Healthcare is a weekly publication read by executives in the healthcare industry. This is the 17th year of these awards.

Last year, U.S. Senators Susan Collins, John McCain, and Lisa Murkowski jointly were named the most influential people in healthcare because their votes prevented a repeal and replacement of the Affordable Care Act.

The 100 Most Influential People in Healthcare awards and recognition program honors individuals in healthcare who are deemed by their peers and the senior editors of Modern Healthcare to be the most influential individuals in the industry, in terms of leadership and impact. Eligible for this recognition are senior-level executives, high-level government administrators and executives, elected officials, and academics and thought-leaders.
