Health Equity: Closing the Gap, focused on addressing health disparities and advancing health equity. A member of the Congressional Black Caucus, Rep. Blunt Rochester discussed the
Quit Because of COVID-19 Act ( H.R. 2185), legislation she introduced to increase tobacco cessation services in Medicaid. She also shared additional health equity work she’s doing. Dr. Jeffries Leonard discussed ACS CAN’s efforts to increase health equity as well as those of The Links, Inc.
