“Fix the Glitch” challenge launches

#ACS404Challenge to help offset two-week tech glitch.

Facebook Fundraisers are a key revenue driver for the American Cancer Society and last year thousands of supporters raised an incredible amount through Facebook and online challenges. Recently, a glitch shut down our fundraising tools on Facebook for nearly two weeks, resulting in the loss of an estimated $1 million in donations that could have provided critical support. Our work is too important to people with cancer and the families that rely on us, and we can’t let this glitch impact our lifesaving mission.

To overcome revenue losses, the #ACS404Challenge is now underway and open to all supporters. Every dollar raised will help end cancer as we know it, for everyone. Once a minimum $100 is raised, the qualifying participant can receive an exclusive #ACS404Challenge t-shirt.

Don’t let a little glitch impact our ability to provide hope to those who need it most. Join the #ACS404Challenge here or make a simple donation today. Help ACS ensure our ability to provide 24-hour support, free lodging, innovative research – and most of all, hope for those who need it most.
